I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2021 and worked in clinical research on a chronic back pain study for two years before becoming an Anteater enthusiast. During those gap years, I discovered a deep passion for serving people living with chronic pain, which drew me toward pain medicine.
That passion was one reason I chose UCI School of Medicine. The pain medicine team here, like UCI’s faculty more broadly, is dedicated to teaching and supporting students, and I’ve been fortunate to benefit from their guidance.
At UCI, I’m engaged in research with pain medicine faculty and serve at a student-run free clinic for uninsured patients in Fullerton. I hope to continue taking on mentorship and teaching roles because I care deeply about medical education.
In my free time, I enjoy landscape and astrophotography, brewing coffee, discovering restaurants, and hiking with friends.
